Whole Grain Bread With Nuts

 

  • Ingredients for 12 slices
    (box shape of 22 cm length)
  • 80g Lizza golden flaxseed flour
  • 300g sunflower seeds
  • 100g nut mix
  • 100g hazelnuts
  • 120g butter (alternatively coconut oil)
  • 1 tbsp xylitol
  • 50g golden flax seeds
  • 300g soya flakes
  • 25g psyllium husk powder
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds flour

To Flour

Preparation:

  1. Roast the sunflower seeds, nuts, and hazelnuts in a pan. Let them cool down and chop them as small as desired.
  2. In the meantime, melt the butter and dissolve the xylitol in 1-2 tablespoons of water. Heat up 700ml of water. Then mix these liquid ingredients together with all the dry ingredients.
  3. Place the bread dough in a 22cm long baking tin, cover it and let it rest in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
  4. Preheat the oven to 175°C (fan), then bake the bread for approx. 60 minutes. Let it cool down in the tin and enjoy it with or without savory spreads.
