Whole Grain Bread With Nuts
- Ingredients for 12 slices
(box shape of 22 cm length) - 80g Lizza Golden Glaxseed Flour
- 300g sunflower seeds
- 100g nut mix
- 100g hazelnuts
- 120g butter (alternatively coconut oil)
- 1 tbsp xylitol
- 50g golden flax seeds
- 300g soya flakes
- 25g psyllium husk powder
- 2 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp chia seeds flour
Preparation:
- Roast the sunflower seeds, nuts, and hazelnuts in a pan. Let them cool down and chop them as small as desired.
- In the meantime, melt the butter and dissolve the xylitol in 1-2 tablespoons of water. Heat up 700ml of water. Then mix these liquid ingredients together with all the dry ingredients.
- Place the bread dough in a 22cm long baking tin, cover it and let it rest in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
- Preheat the oven to 175°C (fan), then bake the bread for approx. 60 minutes. Let it cool down in the tin and enjoy it with or without savory spreads.
