Pizza BBQ Style
- Ingredients for 2 portions
- 2 Lizza Pizza Bases
- 1/2 cauliflower (small)
- olive oil
- sea-salt
- pepper
- curry
- For the Sauce
- 1 red onion
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 150 g passata
- 5 dried tomatoes in oil
- 2 tbsp Worchester sauce
- 2 tbsp Xucker
- 100 ml apple cider vinegar
- 1 pinch of ground cloves
- 6 peppercorns
- 2 bay leaves
- Salt to taste
- pinch of freshly ground black pepper
Preparation:
- Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
- Cut the cauliflower into slices, drizzle with oil and sprinkle with salt, pepper and curry powder.
- Bake in the oven until the cauliflower has the desired firmness (about 25 minutes).
- Dice the onions, chop the garlic and fry in a splash of olive oil.
- Add the remaining ingredients and let the sauce simmer in an open pot for 10 minutes.
- Remove the ground cloves, peppercorns, and bay leaves and puree the sauce.
- Prebake two Lizza pizza bases in the oven until crispy, brush them with the BBQ sauce, top with cauliflower and a few strips of cauliflower leaves.
