Pizza BBQ Style

  • Ingredients for 2 portions
  • 2 Lizza pizza bases
  • 1/2 cauliflower (small)
  • olive oil
  • sea-salt
  • pepper
  • curry
  • For the Sauce
  • 1 red onion
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 150 g passata
  • 5 dried tomatoes in oil
  • 2 tbsp Worchester sauce
  • 2 tbsp xucker
  • 100 ml apple cider vinegar
  • 1 pinch of ground cloves
  • 6 peppercorns
  • 2 bay leaves
  • Salt to taste
  • pinch of freshly ground black pepper

To the pizzabase

Preparation:

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
  2. Cut the cauliflower into slices, drizzle with oil and sprinkle with salt, pepper and curry powder.
  3. Bake in the oven until the cauliflower has the desired firmness (about 25 minutes).
  4. Dice the onions, chop the garlic and fry in a splash of olive oil.
  5. Add the remaining ingredients and let the sauce simmer in an open pot for 10 minutes.
  6. Remove the ground cloves, peppercorns, and bay leaves and puree the sauce.
  7. Prebake two Lizza pizza bases in the oven until crispy, brush them with the BBQ sauce, top with cauliflower and a few strips of cauliflower leaves.
