Pizza with Blackberries, Fennel and Hazelnuts
- Ingredients for 1 serving
- 1 Lizza Pizza Base
- 1 small whole fennel
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp apple syrup
- 1 handful of whole hazelnuts
- 125g blackberries
- 150g vegan cream cheese
- Salt & pepper to taste
Preparation:
- Preheat the oven to 220°C (top/bottom heat).
- In the meantime, wash the fennel, trim off the stems, and set aside. Then slice the bulb into thin rings. Heat up a pan with the olive oil, add the fennel, and season with salt and pepper and fry them together. Finally, add the apple syrup to caramelize.
- In another pan, lightly fry the hazelnuts. Then chop coarsely.
- Wash the blackberries, and finely chop the fennel stems.
- Bake Lizza's pizza base in the oven for 5-7 minutes. Then spread with the vegan cream cheese, add the fennel, sprinkle with the hazelnuts, and finally garnish with the blackberries. Sprinkle with the sliced fennel stems before serving.
