Keto Mushroom Supreme Pizza Recipe

Ingredients:

  • Lizza Pizza Base
  • Lizza Organic Tomato Sauce
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 100g sliced mushrooms of your choice
  • Handful of thinly sliced spring onions
  • 3 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 100ml double cream
  • 4 tbsp cream cheese
  • 60g kale, chopped
  • 20g Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 85g Mozzarella, shredded
  • Sprinkling of parsley (optional)
  • Salt & pepper (to taste)

Here’s a great tasting, simple keto mushroom pizza recipe for you to make at home in a flash. We like to use chestnut mushrooms to add a little nutty flavour or shitake, portabella, or button mushrooms are just as nice. You can use any mushrooms you like.

This recipe calls for plenty of cheese and cream but you can make it vegan by using vegan alternatives.


Preparation: 10 minutes

Cooking time: 10 minutes

Method:

  1. Melt the butter in a large frying pan over a medium heat.
  2. Add the mushrooms and sauté for 5 minutes, until soft and lightly browned.
  3. Add the spring onions and the garlic and stir together until the spring onions soften.
  4. Reduce the heat and add the double cream and cream cheese, stirring until the cream cheese has melted and the mixture has thickened slightly.
  5. Add the parmesan cheese and the kale and stir until everything is nicely combined.
  6. Remove the pan from the heat.
  7. Spread the mushroom sauce over the Lizza Pizza Base leaving the edges bare to form a crust.
  8. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella on top.
  9. Sprinkle the parsley (optional) and season to taste with the salt and pepper.
  10. Bake for 15 minutes or until the mozzarella is bubbling away and turned a nice golden colour.
